ULF de Juan Carlos Gené fue estrenada en el Teatro Municipal General San Martín en 1988. El objetivo de este artículo es rescatar las referencias históricas que utiliza el autor para comprender el sentido que cobran en el contexto histórico en que se estrena el material. Para poder establecer dicho análisis nos basaremos en los conceptos de memoria e historia que estudian Roger Chartier, Elizabeth Jelin, Hayden White; de tradición selectiva de Raymond Williams; de imaginario e ideología que explica Jean Jacques Wunenburguer; y de poética abstracta explicada por Jorge Dubatti.

ULF by Juan Carlos Gené was premiered at the General San Martín Municipal Theater in 1988. The purpose of this article is to rescue the historical references that the author uses to understand the meaning they charge in the historical context in which the material is released. In order to establish this analysis, we will build on the concepts of memory and history studied by Roger Chartier, Elizabeth Jelin, Hayden White; of selective tradition of Raymond Williams; of imaginary and ideology that explains Jean Jacques Wunenburguer; and abstract poetics explained by Jorge Dubatti.
