    Nos proponemos analizar el espectáculo MDLSX (2015), de la formación italiana Motus. La obra, a medio camino entre el teatro y la performance, entre la ficción y la falsa autobiografía, busca llevar escena la intersexualidad y para ello utiliza algunos fragmentos de la novela Middlesex (2002) de Jeffrey Eugenides y citas emblemáticas de la teoría queer —de autoras como Judith Butler, Beatriz Preciado y Donna Haraway—, música y proyecciones, y sobre todo las acciones ejecutadas por una actriz, Silvia Calderoni, que potencia al máximo la apariencia andrógina de su cuerpo.

    We set out to analyze the show MDLSX (2015), by the Italian company Motus. The work, halfway between theatre and performance, between fiction and false autobiography, aims to stage intersexuality. With this purpose they use some fragments of the novel Middlesex (2002), by Jeffrey Eugenides, and emblematic citations of queer theory —authors like Judith Butler, Donna Haraway and Beatriz Preciado—, music and projections, and especially the actions executed by an actress, Silvia Calderoni, that maximizes the androgynous appearance of her body.
