¿Irredentismo, descolonización y "sionismo" palestino?: indagaciones preliminares

    A raíz de las Marchas del Retorno desde la Franja de Gaza a la frontera israelí, este ensayo intenta indagar la naturaleza del irredentismo palestino para explorar algunas diferencias y similitudes con el irredentismo movilizador y con el ethos del retorno de otros refugiados desplazados por conflictos etno-nacionales durante procesos postcoloniales y de independencia contemporáneos. Luego de una revisión del pasado reciente del nacionalismo religioso del movimiento Hamás, el artículo interroga si la movilización popular de esas marchas procura reemplazar la anterior estrategia de Yihad y la lucha terrorista antiisraelí por otra estrategia con fines cívicos, políticos y nacionales a fin de obligar a Israel a levantar su prolongado bloqueo a Gaza desde 2007.

    In the wake of the Return Marches of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip, this essay attempts to interpret the nature of Palestinian irredentism ethos in comparative perspective with mobilizing irredentism and will to return among other refugees displaced by ethno-national conflicts during post—colonial and independence struggles.

    After reviewing the recent past of religious nationalism of the Hamás movement, the article tries to question whether the popular mass mobilization through these marches is attempting to replace the previous strategy of Yihad and anti-Israeli terrorist struggle with another strategy seeking to reach civic, polítical and national goals in order to force Israel to lift it prolonged blockade imposed since 2007 to the Gaza Strip.
