  • In July 2017, the Human Rights Committee prepared the draft General Comment No. 36 on article 6 of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, on the human right to life. The opportunity to provide comments was welcomed and a compre- hensive transdisciplinary document was sent commenting with regard to this right, focused from a biological sciences, philoso- phical anthropology and bio-juridical perspective, according to the corpus iuris of human rights, presenting an ontological and deon- tological structure in accordance with the current scientific eviden- ce, on the right to human life, particularly in its beginning and end, from an inclusive and objective human perspective, to be taken into account by the members of the Committee, in order to refor- mulate stances that violate this right.
