The Sieges of Gerona (1808-1809) during the War of lndependence against Napoleon Bonaparte's troops, and the cloistering in 1835 caused the loss of eleven volumes which contained the OPERA OMNlA of Nicolau Eimeric (1320-1399) and had been seen by Francisco Diago (s. XVI) in the Convent of Saint Domknec de Girona and also by Jaume Villanueva (s. XVIII-XIX). One of these eleven tomes, which until now had been presumed lost, has just been identified in the Bartomeu March Library in Palma de Mallorca and in it have been found three texts of Eimeric. In this article, besides a minute description o! the aforementioned volume and of the seven tracts of Eimeric contained therein, there is a basic outline of the three works which were presumed lost: the DE CONCEPTIONE VlRGlNlS MARIAE dedicated to Clement VI1 (1384), the DE IURlSDlCTlONE ECCLESIAE ET INQUISITORUM CONTRA INFIDELES DEMONES INVOCANTES VEL ALIAS FlDEM CATHOLICAM AGITANTES and the TRACTATUS BREVIS SUPER IURlSDlCTlONE INQUISITORUM CONTRA INFIDELES FlDEM CATHOLICAM AGITANTES. which is a summary of the previous tract. At the end, the author reconstructs the list of Nicolau Eimeric's works following the recent discovery.
