  • The analysis of the liturgical texts of the ancient hispanic liturgy of the Feast of the Lord's Circumcision and of the fast day of New Year's Eve show that some of those texts have been based on the ancient festival of New Year's Eve against the idols, which disappeared in the second decade of the 7th century with the institution of the two abovementioned Feasts.
