Resumen de El cine como modelo de realidad: análisis de “Él” (Luis Buñuel, 1953)

  Toda película susceptible de ser analizada puede ser considerada como un modelo de realidad. Y toda película –o toda buena película– es un documento de nuestro propio psiquismo, de las fantasías que constituyen nuestra subjetividad. Para ilustrar esta hipótesis, hemos elegido como objeto de estudio “El”, de Luis Buñuel, película rodada en México en 1953. Nuestro objetivo principal es llevar a cabo, teniendo en cuenta la Teoría de las “Funciones del Lenguaje”, un análisis textual de lo que de ‘poético’ hay en la película, descartando las otras funciones lingüísticas, la científica y la ideológica; considerando que la imagen ha de ser pensada en tanto que componente esencial del Lenguaje.

  Every film liable to be analysed can be considered as a model of reality. And every movie –or any good film– is a document of our own psyche, of the fantasies that constitute our subjectivity. To illustrate this hypothesis, we have chosen as object of study the film “The”, of Luis Buñuel, shot in Mexico in 1953. Our main goal is to make a textual analysis, taking into account the theory of the “functions of language”, of the ‘poetic’ content of the movie, discarding other linguistic functions, the scientist and the ideological;

  considering that the image has to be thought as an essential component of language.
