Resumen de Exhumation of the Northern Apennine chain: do we need something more than apatite fission-track data?
After an extensive apatite fission-track study across the Northern Appennines chain, some samples from two keys areas were analyzed with the zircon fission-track method and the U-Th/He method on apatite and zircon.
A more detailed exhumation history was obtained through the combined application o f these four thermochronological methods. Integration with geological data allowed to distinguish between tectonic denudation and erosion.
