"Palliative care" is sometimes an unknown notion for many patients, due to "customary" ignorance. There is an inertia of ignorance in the patient, in which relatives and medical personnel are involved. Antea Bioethics Committee has proposed to shedlight and understanding to this phenomenon. To this end, it has prepared a questionnaire, aimed at the various functions of medical personnel, to facilitate the first meeting and obtaining "consent", later called "welcome". An instrument also aimed at improving thedoctor-patient relationship and assessing the role of family members. All this in the particularly sensitive situation around palliative care and pain therapy.
