    Los límites en series turbidíticas son difíciles de situar debido, sobre todo, a la aparente paraconformidad de sus contactos. Los límites entre complejos turbidíticos son discordancias angulares a la escala sísmica y de cartografía geológica, y paraconformes a la escala del afloramiento.

    Los límites en sistemas turbidíticos poseen las mismas características geométricas que los anteriores. Son discordancias difíciles de observar a la escala del afloramiento, marcadas por bruscos cambios en su composición petrográfica, por la aparición de sedimentos pelíticos, por la existencia de mineralizaciones, de facies tractivas, de megaturbiditas y/o etc. Los límites en unidades de rango menor vienen marcados por cambios en los tipos de facies, especialmente, granulometría y estratificación.

    Subdivisions and boundaries within turbidite series are difficult to trace mains because of their apparents paraconform character of the contacts. Boundaries between turbidite complexes are angular unconformities at the scale of seismic resolution and mappable units. They are paraconforms at the scale of outcrops.

    The boundaries delimiting turbidite systems have the same geometric characteristics. At the scale of outcrops, the unconformities are difficult to observe and marked by abrupt changes of the petrographic composition, by the appearance of pelitic sediments, by intensive mineralizations, by tractive facies, by megaturbidites and/or other characteristics. The boundaries between units of minor rank are marked by changes in the types of facies, specialy in grain size and stratification.
