Resumen de ¿Una Colombia sin memoria? El camino desde la inestabilidad

Un nuevo escenario se abre en Colombia tras la firma en 2016 del acuerdo de paz. Es en este momento de transición e incertidumbre donde se replantean cuestiones como la estabilidad futura, el tratamiento de las víctimas y la construcción de una memoria histórica que haga posible la no repetición de los sucesos vividos. La firma de dicho acuerdo no significa de por sí el fin total de la violencia, sino que muchas otras cuestiones deberán encauzarse para instaurar una verdadera paz en el territorio. En este análisis se tendrán en cuenta las características que determinan la singularidad del territorio colombiano en el cual el establecimiento de una memoria histórica que perdure podría volverse un proceso dificultoso si a la vez no se decide tener en cuenta otros factores claves capaces de generar una estabilidad que encauce el camino hacia la paz. Como se verá, realizar una única conclusión sobre la posibilidad o imposibilidad de dicha memoria sería caer en el error, ya que los propios sucesos en Colombia no permiten predecir su futuro. Aun así, este estudio proporcionará un acercamiento a esas cuestiones que resultan esenciales a la hora de permitir o dificultar el camino de la memoria, poniendo hincapié en la importancia de su replanteamiento para posibilitar el asentamiento no solamente de una memoria histórica que perdure, sino también de un mejor futuro para Colombia

A new scenary opens in Colombia after the signing of the peace agreement in 2016. It is in this moment of transition and uncertainty that issues such as future stability, the treatment of the victims and the construction of a historical memory that make possible the non-repetition of the lived events are reconsidered. The signing of this agreement does not itself mean the total end of violence, but many other issues must be channeledwith the goal of establishing true peace in the territory. This analysis will consider the characteristics that determine the uniqueness of the Colombian territory, in which the establishment of a historical memory that lasts could become a difficult process if, at the same time, it is not decided to take into account other key factors capable of generating a stability that leads the way to peace. As it will be seen later, to make a single conclusion about the possibility or impossibility of such a memory would be to fall into error, since the events themselves in Colombia do not allow us to predict their future. Even so, this study will provide an approach to those issues that are essential to allow or hinder the path of memory, emphasizing the importance of rethinking to enable the settlement not only of a historical memory that lasts, but also of a better future for Colombia.
