Enfoque desde una perspectiva bibliométrica de la aplicación educativa de la realidad virtual en personas con Trastorno del Espectro Autista

    La tecnología es un elemento integrador que puede contribuir a la inclusión de las personas con Trastorno del Espectro Autista (TEA), siendo la Realidad Virtual (RV) la que más se adapta a su estilo de aprendizaje. En este sentido, el propósito del presente estudio es realizar un análisis de la producción científica sobre RV y TEA. La muestra la componen 248 documentos que pertenecen a la colección principal de la Web of Science, analizados en función de 9 indicadores. Los resultados indican que Estados Unidos es el mayor productor sobre la temática y el que dispone de los mayores centros de producción, aunque presenta un alto índice de aislamiento. Asimismo, el periodo más prolijo ha sido de 2014-2017, siendo psicología del desarrollo y rehabilitación las áreas de la Web of Science más presentes. Finalmente, la mayoría de las revistas están presentes en el cuartil Q1, donde más publican los autores sobre esta temática.

    Technology is an integrative element that can contribute to the inclusion of people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), being Virtual Reality (VR) the one that best adapts to their learning style. In this sense, the purpose of this study is to make an analysis of the scientific production on VR and ASD. The sample consisted of 248 documents belonging to the main collection of the Web of Science being analyzed according to 9 indicators. The results indicate that the United States is the largest producer on the subject and has the largest production centers, although it has a high index of isolation. Likewise, the longest period has been 2014-2017, with developmental psychology and rehabilitation being the areas of the Web of Science most present. Finally, the vast majority of journals are present in Q1, where the authors publish the most on this subject.
