    La representación de la imagen de Santa Teresa de Jesús a partir de su primer retrato ha evolucionado hacia aspectos mucho más relevantes. A través de pinceladas, colores, luces, técnicas, contrastes…los artistas van más allá; representaron en momentos históricos diferentes, aspectos de su personalidad; como mujer, como escritora y como Santa. Artistas del siglo xx y XXI, muestran en sus creaciones; características de su obra escrita, de su forma de ser, pensar, actuar y sentido religioso.

    The Santa Teresa’s image representation since her first portrait has evolved into more relevant aspects. Through the brush strokes, colors, illumination, techniques, contrasts… artists go far away. In different historical moments they represent the aspects of her personality: as a woman, as a writer and as a Saint. Artists from the 20th and the 21st centuries show in their creations characteristics of her literary work and her way of being, way of thinking, the way she be haved and her religious sense.
