El anegamiento a través de la prensa: el caso de la ciudad de Corrientes

    La ciudad de Corrientes se caracteriza por ser la más antigua del nordeste argentino. En las últimas décadas ha experimentado un considerable aumento de su mancha urbana, como resultado de dos factores, por un lado, el incremento de la población y por otro los cambios generados en el uso del suelo a través de las segundas residencias (casas de fin de semana), a las que puede acceder un sector de la población.

    En este contexto, la consecuente urbanización fue creando un proceso de impermeabilización del suelo, además diferentes grupos sociales han edificado sus viviendas sobre áreas anegables como lagunas, cañadas, entre otros. Esto genera un escenario proclive al anegamiento de la ciudad, especialmente luego de precipitaciones abundantes en un corto periodo de tiempo.

    En este sentido, los diarios son una fuente fundamental para dicho análisis, porque permiten establecer un cierto grado de contacto entre los grupos sociales afectados, personajes públicos y portadores de la toma de decisiones políticas.

    Es desde esta perspectiva que se intentará analizar el caso del anegamiento en la ciudad de Corrientes y su impacto en la sociedad registrada en las notas periodísticas a partir del mes de abril hasta julio del 2017, en este sentido, se busca conocer la importancia que tuvo la noticia, los tópicos tratados y los actores involucrados en la problemática. La generación de información por parte de un medio de comunicación, en este caso escrito, puede funcionar como un informante exploratorio que brinda una primera aproximación sobre el problema en análisis.

    Los resultados mostraron un considerable aumento en la cantidad de superficie destinada a la noticia, además los tópicos o temas más frecuentemente tratados son variados con el correr de los días, aunque con un énfasis particular en el anegamiento.

    The city of Corrientes, is characterized by being the oldest of thein northeast Argentina. In the last decades it has experienced a considerable increase in the urban sprawl, as a result of two factors:, on the one hand, the increase of the population and on the other, the changes generated in the use of land through second homes (weekend homes), which can only be accessed by a sector of the population. This that generates a a prone scenario to the waterlogging of the city, especially so that before each precipitation, especially those that are abundant and in a short period of time precipitations.

    The generation of information by a means of communication, can function as an exploratory informant that provides a first approximation of the problem in analysis, the waterlogging of the city occurs.

    In this sense, the newspapers are a fundamental source for this analysis a specific problem, because they it allows to establish a certain degree of contact with the main actors, such as the affected social groups, public figures and bearers of political decision-making.

    It is from this perspective, and using recorded in the journalist from April to July 2017, that we will try to analyze the case of waterlogging in the city of Corrientes and its impact on society recorded in the journalistic notes from April to July 2017. In this sense, we will seek to know the importance of the news, the topics discussed, and the actors involved in the problem. Since the generation of information by a means of communication, in this case written, can function as an exploratory informant that provides a first approximation of the problem in analysis.

    The results show a considerable increase in the surface devoted to the news, and in addition, the topics more frequently treated are diverse and with the passing of the days go by, they maintain although with a particular emphasis on waterlogging.
