Resumen de El tránsito de estudiantes universitarias hacia el feminismo

En este artículo se presentan los resultados obtenidos en las entrevistas realizadas a once estudiantes feministas de la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México que han participado activamente en la denuncia de diversos actos de violencia contra las mujeres ocurridos en esta universidad. Las entrevistas tuvieron como propósito recolectar información sobre varios aspectos relativos a su historia como activistas. Para el procesamiento de la información recolectada se utilizó la técnica de análisis temático. Con los testimonios elegidos se busca ilustrar los hechos que condujeron a estas estudiantes a involucrarse en el activismo feminista, así como algunas de las experiencias que han marcado la vida de los grupos que han formado para dar cauce a su activismo. Los resultados de esta investigación permiten apreciar que, a pesar del paso del tiempo, aún queda un largo camino por recorrer para que el haber nacido mujeres no suponga una carga para las universitarias

This article presents the results obtained from interviews with eleven feminist students at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México who have participated actively in denouncing various acts of violence against women which have taken place in the university. The interviews were designed to gather information on several aspects relating to their experience as activists. The technique of thematic analysis was used to process the information collected. With the selected testimonials, we seek to illustrate the events which led these students to get involved in feminist activism, and some of the experiences which have marked the lives of the groups they have formed as vehicles for their activism. The results of this investigation show that, despite the passing of time, there is still a long way to go before being born female does not represent a burden for university students.
