  Este estudio analiza la relación entre chilenos y peruanos alrededor del Terminal Internacional. El estudio contextualiza el proceso migratorio en la época de Globalización, elabora una caracterización sobre las causales del movimiento poblacional desde el Perú hacia Chile, y establece un perfil de la persona de nacionalidad peruana que se encuentra en el Terminal Internacional. Se expone la construcción del paisaje cultural por parte de los peruanos en Arica y la consolidación de este circuito entre la frontera norte de Chile y la región sur del Perú. Por último, son abordadas una serie de propuestas que podrían generar y consolidar las instancias de diálogo entre ambas sociedades.

  This study discusses the relationship between Chileans and Peruvians around the International Terminal. The study contextualized the migratory process in the current era of globalization, it also develops a characterization on the causes of the population movement from Peru to Chile, and it establishes a profile of the person of Peruvian nationality that can be foundsin the International Terminal. We outline the construction of the cultural landscape by Peruvians in Arica and the consolidation of this circuit between the northern border of Chile and the southern region of Peru. Finally, wee address a series of proposals that could generate and consolidate the instances of dialogue between the two societies.
