O Abrigo do Ribeiro das Casas corresponde a um abrigo com pintura rupestre esquemática implantado nas margens de uma ribeira afluente do Rio Côa. Mostra um reduzido dispositivo iconográfico, expresso em dois painéis, onde foram pintados motivos esquemáticos: um zoomorfo e dois antropomorfos. Através da análise de parâmetros técnicos, morfológicos, estilísticos e também por paralelos iconográficos foi possível estabelecer dois períodos de execução. Estes enquadram- -se na Pré-História Recente, desde a sua fase mais antiga nos VI–V milénios a.C., prolongando-se até finais do III milénio a.C

Abrigo do Ribeiro das Casas is a schematic painted rock art shelter located in the banks of a stream, tributary of the Coa River. It shows a small iconographic scene, expressed in two panels where the schematic motifs were painted: one zoomorph and two anthropomorphs. Through the analysis of the technical, morphological and stylistic parameters, and also by the iconographic parallels it was possible to establish two distinct execution periods: since the beginning of the Neolithic (6–5th millennium BC), until the final stages of the Chalcolithic (end of 3rd millennium BC).
