    Las transformaciones en las capacidades humanas a través del uso de la tecnología, han sido objeto análisis a través del tiempo, las técnicas imaginadas y creadas con el fin de potencializar actividades físicas y mentales de los individuos, es y han sido objeto de estudio de la corriente pensamiento filosófico denominada Transhumanismo (h+).Para el presente artículo, se presentan los aportes investigativos del trabajo de tesis doctoral denominado ̈ROBOÉTICA Y TRANSHUMANISMO: UN ESCENARIO SINGULAR PARA LA BIOÉTICA DE LA TECNOCIENCIA ̈, documento construido para el escenario académico del Doctorado en Bioética, en la Universidad Militar Nueva Granada, Bogotá, Colombia. que parte de un estado del arte historiográfico del pensamiento transhumanista, organizado metodológicamente mediante cuatro etapas históricas, cuyo resultado vislumbran la articulación conceptual y teórica de en la construcción del mismo.
