    La historia de la historiografía argentina abordó con distintos énfasis, temáticas diversas, sin embargo existe un virtual vacío historiográfico sobre el desempeño del Instituto y sus derivas a partir de mediados del siglo XX. En ese marco, el presente artículo -de carácter centralmente exploratorio y monográfico-, procura contribuir a la profundización de la memoria institucional; particularmente se aspira a reconstruir un breve aunque importante tramo de la prolongada gestión de Ricardo Caillet Bois como Director de Instituto Ravignani. Importa referir algunas características de su reordenamiento producidas en los primeros años de la década del 60.     The history of the Argentine historiography approached with different emphases, diverse subjects, nevertheless a virtual historiográfico emptiness exists on the performance of the Institute and its drifts as of half-full of century XX. In this framework, the present article - of a centrally exploratory and monographic nature - seeks to contribute to the deepening of institutional memory; In particular, we aspire to reconstruct a brief section of the long term of Ricardo Caillet Bois as Director of the Ravignani Institute. It is important to mention some characteristics of its reordering produced in the first years of the 1960s.
