    La vil·la del pla de l’Horta constitueix un dels jaciments d’època romana en millor estat de conservació del nord-est català. La varietat d’elements localitzats, l’excel·lent estat de conservació de les restes i la seva ubicació, en un entorn urbà molt ben comunicat, obren un ampli ventall de possibilitats de cara a la seva difusió. La col·locació d’una coberta constitueix un pas molt important dins del projecte d’adequació i difusió del jaciment. Les característiques del jaciment permeten abordar la seva visita des de múltiples punts de vista que ajuden a aprofundir en el coneixement de la societat, l’economia, l’arquitectura, el món funerari... i la seva evolució al llarg de 600 anys.

    The Pla de l’Horta villa is one of the best-preserved Roman sites in north-eastern Catalonia. The variety of elements that have been found, the excellent condition of the remains and their location in an urban environment with good transport connections open up a wide range of possibilities for dissemination. The construction of a roof is a very important step in the adaptation of the site to visitors and its promotion. The characteristics of the site mean that visits can be carried out from different perspectives that help to deepen the knowledge of aspects of society, economy, architecture, the funerary world and their evolution over 600 years.
