El Museu d’Història de la Ciutat de Sant Feliu de Guíxols, des del seu objectiu d’explicar la història del territori, sempre ha tingut present d’una forma o altra el període històric romà. Tot i que avui el trobem representat en les exposicions i el recorregut monumental del monestir, creiem que encara no ha tingut el protagonisme que evidentment mereix. És per això que estem preparant una nova exposició que hi posi remei: «Hereditas Romae. L’herència de Roma», que girarà al voltant de la idea que «encara som més romans del que penses».

One of the functions of the History Museum of the City of Sant Feliu de Guíxols is to explain the history of the territory; this explanation has always included the Roman period in some way. Currently, this period is represented in the exhibitions and the monastery tour, but it still does not have the prominence that it clearly deserves. Consequently, we are preparing a new exhibition: “Hereditas Romae. Inheritance of Rome”, which is based on the idea that “We are still more Roman than you think”.
