    A partir de la reciente multiplicación de estudios, cada vez más ricos en enfoques, sobre los monasterios femeninos que la historiografía ha propuesto durante veinte años, se presta especial interés al papel de laboratorio de configuraciones que el espacio monástico representa: entrelazamientos de destinos, de estrategias familiares, de coyunturas políticas, de subjetividades inexpresadas, pero también de escritos originales. Con esta investigación se presenta el caso de una ciudad del Reino de Nápoles, L’Aquila en el siglo XVII, que, situada en la frontera con el Estado papal, es por lo tanto lugar de transición de ideas y modelos culturales entre la capital y el Adriático. El mundo religioso femenino que aquí se va a presentar se mueve alrededor de los casos de Maria Teresa Ciampella y Maddalena Ventiquattro y saca a la luz los fermentos espirituales y las inquietudes que también en L’Aquila, tanto como en la península y en Europa, caracterizaban el final del siglo XVII en aquella incierta pero intensa dimensión mística que ofrece muchos ejemplos a fin de siglo.

    From the recent increase of studies, more richly focused along time about female monasteries that historiography has proposed for twenty years, a special interest is concentrated on the role of laboratory of configurations that the monastic setting represents: an interweaving of destinies of family strategies, politic circumstances, unexpressed subjectivities but also original writings. With this research work a case from a city of the kingdom of Naples, L’Aquila in the XVII century is presented. L’Aquila is situated on the border of the papal State, therefore a place of transition of ideas and cultural models betwen the capital city and the Adriatic. The female religious world that is going to be presented goes around the cases of Maria Teresa Ciampella and Maddalena Ventiquattro to clarify spiritual sources and inquisitiveness that characterized either L’Aquila as the peninsula and Europe in the end of XVII century. (is investigation points to the uncertain but intense mystic dimension that o) ers lots of examples.
