    In the context of the three-year “Hybrid Security Governance in Africa” (HSG) research programme funded by the Canadian International Development Research Centre (IDRC), Eboe Hutchful, Robin Luckham and Niagalé Bagayoko forged an interpretation that is both theoretical and empirical, articulated around the concept of “hybridity” which they have applied to understand the coexistence of different formal and informal systems of regulation and governance in the field of African security.

    Dans le cadre du programme de recherche trisannuel « Hybrid Security Governance in Africa (HSG), soutenu par le CRDI (Centre de recherche pour le développement international) du gouvernement canadien, Eboe Hutchful, Robin Luckham et Niagalé Bagayoko ont développé une réflexion à la fois théorique et empirique, articulée autour du concept « d’hybridité », utilisé afin de saisir la coexistence de différents systèmes de régulation et de gouvernance, d’ordre formel et informel, dans le champ de la sécurité africaine.
