    Para Le Corbusier, la publicación del primer tomo de L´Oeuvre Complète supone la oportunidad de crear un tratado de arquitectura moderna, que le permita exponer sus nuevas ideas, adecuadas a los nuevos tiempos. La nueva arquitectura necesita un nuevo modo de ser representada.Tomando como botón de muestra algunos fragmentos del relato de la representación de la villa Stein-de Monzie en L´Oeuvre Complète (páginas 140 a 149), el artículo plasma la influencia que tuvo la visión cinematográfica sobre la representación de la arquitectura moderna; contemplando qué mecanismos de manipulación se han desplegado hasta llegar a la imagen de la villa que se presenta en el libro.Una representación de la arquitectura cuidadosamente elaborada por Le Corbusier, conocedor de que lo que permanecerá será la imagen de la villa representada, por encima de la obra construida.

    For Corbusier, the publication of the L’Oeuvre Complète’s first volume supposes the opportunity to create a treatise of Modern architecture, which allows him to expose his new ideas adapted to the new times. The new architecture needs a new way of being represented.

    Taking some fragments of the representation of the villa Stein-de Monzie in L’Oeuvre Complète (pages 140 to 149), the article shows the influence of the cinematographic vision in the representation of modern architecture;

    contemplating what mechanisms of manipulation were displayed for reaching the image of the villa shown in the book.

    A representation of the architecture carefully elaborated by Le Corbusier, conscious that the image of the represented villa will be the one to be remembered, beyond the built work.
