Resumen de O magistério católico: simultaneamente pedra de tropeço e chance
O artigo constata inicialmente uma crise do magistério e procura efetuar uma defesa e uma ilustração da função teológica do magistério em virtude de sua natureza teológica: o magistério não é um mal necessário, mas uma necessidade. A seguir, põe em evidência aspectos importantes no vínculo entre magistério e teologia: trata-se de passar da suspeita mútua à vigilância comum. No final, em algumas observações conclusivas, tenta captar os elementos de um desafio que o mundo ocidental contemporâneo lança ao mesmo tempo ao magistério e à teologia.Abstract: The article initially sees a crisis within the teaching office and tries to efect a defense and an illustration of the theological function of the teaching office in virtue of its theological nature: the teaching office is not a necessary evil, but a necessity. Following this, it brings forth important aspects in the link between the teaching office and theology: mutual suspicion becomes common vigilance. In the end, in some conclusive observations, it tries to capture the elements of a challenge which the western contemporary world projects outwards at one and the same time to the teaching office and to theology.
