    La riqueza de patrimonio cultural religioso que posee el Ecuador en muy amplia, principalmente, porque al hablar de arte en el país es hablar sobre la religión directamente. Con la llegada de la conquista español se inició con la construcción de impresionantes edificaciones que ratificaban la presencia de la religión católica en el país. Una de los más grandes exponentes de esta riqueza es el Centro Historio de la Quito, ubicado en la capital del país. Este artículo se plantea como objetivo principal describir y analizar la Ruta de la Espiritualidad a la cual se suma el singular trayecto de las siete cruces, con la finalidad de a través de su integración se pueda proponer una ruta alterna que potencie el turismo religioso a lo largo de todo el año dentro de la ciudad de Quito. La metodología utilizada constituye un análisis descriptivo apoyado en fuentes primarias y secundarias que abordan el origen, historia y acciones que se han desarrollo hasta el momento dentro de este trayecto. Entre las principales conclusiones resalta que el centro histórico dispone de elementos singulares que permite la inserción de una nueva experiencia turística, particularmente por la cercanía y concentración de los atractivos en un reducido espacio, hecho que facilita el desarrollo del trayecto turístico y permite proyectar el turismo religioso a lo largo de todo el año.

    The wealth of religious cultural heritage that Ecuador has in very large, mainly, because when talking about art in the country is to talk about religion directly. With the arrival of the Spanish conquest began with the construction of impressive buildings that ratified the presence of the Catholic religion in the country. One of the greatest exponents of this wealth is the Quito Historical Center, located in the capital of the country. This article sets out as its main objective to describe and analyze the Spirituality Route to which the singular route of the seven crossings is added, with the purpose of integrating an alternate route that enhances religious tourism at the same time throughout the year in the city of Quito. The methodology used is a descriptive analysis based on primary and secondary sources that address the origin, history and actions that have been developed so far in this journey. Among the main conclusions highlights that the historic center has unique elements that allows the insertion of a new tourist experience, particularly by the proximity and concentration of the attractions in a small space, a fact that facilitates the development of the tourist route and allows to project tourism religious throughout the year
