El objetivo general del presente artículo es señalar los principales aportes que dejó en Venezuela la inmigración europea (española, italiana y portuguesa) que llegó al país a mediados del siglo XX (1945-1958); es decir desde el fin de la II Guerra Mundial hasta el fin de la dictadura del general Marcos Pérez Jiménez.
Se trata de una investigación documental histórica. Se revisaron investigaciones científicas, libros y entrevistas relacionadas con el tema y entre las contribuciones que esta inmigración hizo al país se encontraron: el surgimiento de nuevos venezolanos producto de la unión entre europeos y venezolanos y entre europeos, los valores (familia y trabajo), la infraestructura, la gastronomía, entre otros.

The general purpose of this article is to point out the main contributions brought to Venezuela by the European immigration (Spanish, Italian and Portuguese) that arrived to the country in the middle of the XX century (1945 - 1958); it means since the end of World War II until the end of the dictatorship of General Marcos Pérez Jiménez.
This is a historical documental research. Scientific researches, books and interviews related to the main contributions to Venezuela by the European immigration (Spanish, Italian and Portuguese) that arrived to the country in the middle of the XX century (1945 - 1958) were reviewed. Amid these contributions, the appearance of new Venezuelans resulted from the union between Europeans and Venezuelans, values (family and work), infrastructure, and gastronomy, among others were found.
