    La imagen juega un papel muy importante a lo largo de la vida del ser humano, es por ello por lo que el hombre la utiliza para poder sensibilizar y atraer a sus semejantes moviendo a veces a las masas hacia la dirección que uno desea indicar. La Primera Guerra Mundial va a ser pionera en hacer uso de la imagen a lo largo de toda la contienda, referida a todas las actividades que una guerra conlleva, tanto a nivel militar como civil. La fotografía, como técnica de plasmar la imagen real y tener la facilidad de poder ser reproducida tendrá un valor fundamental a la hora de transmitir mensajes sea o no acompañada de un texto. La Propaganda volcada en carteles, panfletos, proclamas, incluso en el cine y en la prensa serán los vehículos fundamentales de transportar esta imagen encargada de influir en el sentir de los pueblos de ambos bandos, informarles, motivarles incluso estimularles por su contenido, significado, por su historia y hasta en muchos casos por su belleza.

    Image plays an important role in Human History and that is the reason why human beings use her to persude others towards a particular direction, belief or sentiment. First World War was pioner at managing her across the whole conflict both in military and civilian aspects. Fotography, both as a technicque to capture reallife situations and also for its potential to be easily reproduced and distributed, will have enormous potential to deliver the suitable message either with or without using additional notes.

    Propaganda will become the tool to deliver those images by using posters, brouchures, proclaims, cinema and media press in order to draw the attention from both sides in conflict, to inform them, motivate them, to bring them into the right cause by means of the history, meaning and even the beauty of those touching pieces of art.
