Rosmini's (1797-1855) theological thought is being recovered from oblivion little by little since the last Vatican Council. This paper deals with the nuclear systematic concept of his Antropologia soprannaturale: the ([objective formal cause.. The clear Rosminian response to the discussion on God's causality in grace (((causa efficiens)) or causa formalis,,) cannot be classified among traditional theories on the subject. His solution to the problem, based on a wide revision of main philosophical concepts, points to underline grace as personal fellowship between God and man, and, becomes the principie of a renewed explanation of a theology of grace, as well as the strong link between Theological Anthropology and Christology, Ecclesiology and other theological disciplines.
