  • Resumen
    • In this paper the author seeks to find the logical coherence in the process that has led to our present day situation of a ((post-Christian. atheism. He does this by commenting on the following texts, arranged chron- ologically: Jean Paul's ((There is no God, nor is there salvation in another world.; K. Marx's ~God does not exist, but humanity is divine)); F. Nietzsche's ((There is no God nor is humanity divine. The only alternative left is to "create" the superman)); E. Tierno Galvan's ((Things are not that bad! There isn't "another world, nor is there any future, but there is a "here-and-now")); and Mario Benedetti's 4rom "perfect establishing oneself" in narcissism)~. The author believes that the process described shows the extent to which faith is reasonable but also the extent to which freedom iS involved. He criticizes the intolerant attitude towards unbelievers and proposes a more Christian attitude of meekness and respect, which draws us closer to the divine love that embraces al1 men: believers and unbelievers, righteous or sinners.
