  • Resumen
    • Thirty years after the proclamation of the Dei Verbum Constitution (1965), the identity of Fundamental Theology appears within Ecclesiology. In fact, the irnportance of Vatican II for the theology of the Church is clear, and many Fundamental Theology textbooks in recent years insist on the irnportance of the credibility of Revelation and faith in the significance (((sacramentality))) of the Church to the world. Christian witness appears as the axis of this new ecclesiological orientation of Fundamental Theology after Vatican II. At the beginning there is the foundational witness of the Ecclesia mater congregans; the term is the witness of the life of the Ecclesia fraternitas congregata; the mediation is the witness of the Spirit, Spiritus in Ecclesia. In this sense the Church appears not only as a sign of Revelation but as a theological structure of Fundamental Theology today
