    El encaminamiento del papel hacia las Indias está vinculado a la historia del transporte marítimo y terrestre. En el continente his- panoamericano, las rutas son recorridas por arrieros que llevan todo tipo de productos, entre estos figuran el papel blanco, y sobre todo el papel sellado, principal soporte material de la cultura jurídica desde mediados del siglo XVII. A partir de varios expedientes extraídos de la documentación de la renta del papel sellado en Chile, se examinan las redes establecidas por Ignacio de los Olivos, quien fue Tesorero del Papel Sellado en Chile entre 1739 y 1770. Mostraremos que la administración de este estanco, mediante la constitución de redes de distribución, agilizó la territorialización de la jurisdicción de la Capitanía General en la segunda mitad del siglo XVIII, donde el dominio del tiempo es un elemento clave.

    The routing of the stamped paper to the West Indies is related to the History of Maritime and Terrestrial Transportations. Mule drivers go down the routes of Hispanic America, carrying all types of products. Amongst them are white common papers and stamped papers, the main material support of the Juridical and legal culture since the 1650’s. Through various written Documents belonging to the Administration of stamped paper incomes, this article examines the networks implemented by Ignacio de los Olivos, who acts as Treasurer of the Stamped Paper of Chile, between 1739 and 1770. We will show that the Administration of this income facilitaded the Territorialization of the Jurisdiction of the Captaincy of Chile, during the second half of the 18th century. In this process, time happens to be a key element.
