Resumen de Activismo de género en las organizaciones sindicales: Reivindicaciones y estrategias emergentes en los Encuentros Nacionales de Mujeres

  Although female participation in the labor market has been continually growing throughout the western world, and particularly in Argentina, gender inequalities still constitute a structuring trend for the labor world. Both in the labor market and in the workers organizations, the conditions for access and participation are unfavorable for women.

  This finding, together with there cognition of some recent convergence between the feminist struggles and the labor union organizations – the integration of feminist leaders in the unions, the call for "women ́s strikes" originated in other organizations, among other evidences – motivates our question about the antecedents in recent history of the confluence between the women's movement and the organized workers, as well as their effects on the expansion of union's agendas and the progress in the struggle for equality.

  In this framework, this article enquires about the main topics of a gender agenda for organized workers, which in Argentina was articulated, since there covery of democracy, around the National Women's Meetings. It also explores some recent local trade union’s strategies which focused on the problems concerning gender inequalities in the labor world.

  Embora exista um crescimento duradouro da participaçã ofeminina no mercado de trabalho no mundo ocidental, e também na Argentina, as desigualdades de gênero continuam marcando uma tendência estrutural no mundo do trabalho. Tanto no mercado de trabalhoquantonasestruturassindicais, as condições de acesso e participação resultam des favoráveis para as mulheres.

  Essa constatação, junto ao reconhecimento de alguns en contros recentes entre as lutas feministas e as organizações sindicais – a integração de referentes feministas nos sindicatos, a convocatória a “greve de mulheres” desde fora do espaço sindical, dentre outras evidências – nos motivam a nos perguntarmos sobre os antecedentes na história recente dessa confluência entre o movimento de mulheres e o de trabalhadores e trabalhadoras organizadas, e sobre os seus efeitos na ampliação das agendas dos sindicatos e no avanço das lutas pela igualdade.

  Nesse contexto, o artigo indaga sobre os principais pontos de uma agenda de gênero das trabalhadoras organizadas, articulados desde a recuperação da democracia ao redor dos Encontros Nacionais de Mulheres, e explora algumas estratégias sindicais que emergiram recentemente no cenário local, orientadas a enfrentar as problemáticas vinculadas com as desigualdades de gênero no mundo do trabalho.
