Originari de Sant Mori i ordenat prevere el 1923, mossèn Evarist Feliu Soler (1898-1968) va desenvolupar una activitat sacerdotal que presenta dues cares contraposades: la de capellà dels joves en casals d’estiu i la Federació de Joves Cristians de Catalunya, i la de capellà de la Presó Provincial a la postguerra. En 1943 va assumir un càrrec de l’Acció Catòlica a Madrid. Per a uns fou un capellà exemplar i un sant; per a d’altres, un personatge discutit i mal vist.

Born in Sant Mori and ordained in 1923, the priestly engagements of reverend Evarist Feliu Soler (1898-1968) show two opposing sides: on the one hand, that of a chaplain of summer camps and of the Federation of Young Christians of Catalonia, and, on the other hand, that of the chaplain of the Provincial Prison during the post-war. In 1943 he took office with the Catholic Action in Madrid. For some he was an exemplary chaplain and a saint, for others a controversial and unpopular figure.
