    Objetivo principal: Reflexionar sobre las implicaciones biológicas, éticas y legales que surgen en el proceso de la maternidad subrogada. Metodología: Se ha realizado una revisión descriptivo-narrativo tras una revisión en diferentes bases de datos como Cuiden, Pubmed o Dialnet y diversos libros y páginas webs. Resultados principales: La enfermera debe poseer un pensamiento crítico basado en el conocimiento y la reflexión para poder abordar el tema ofreciendo los mejores cuidados posibles. Conclusión principal: La Ley de reproducción humana asistida prohíbe realizar la maternidad subrogada en España, sin embargo, muchas personas optan por esta opción en el extranjero. Los defensores de esta práctica alegan que es una opción en la que todos ganan, sin embargo, la realidad es que supone una nueva manera de explotación de la mujer y de tráfico de recién nacidos. Este artículo intenta mejorar la comprensión y análisis de los dilemas éticos que esta práctica conlleva.

    Objective: Reflect on the biological, ethical and legal implications that arise in the process of surrogate motherhood. Methods: A descriptive-narrative review was carried out after a review in different databases such as Cuiden, Pubmed or Dialnet and various books and web pages. Results: The nurse must have a critical thinking based on knowledge and reflection to be able to approach it offering the best possible care. Conclusions: The Assisted Human Reproduction Law prohibits performing surrogacy in Spain, however, many people opt for this option abroad. The defenders of this practice claim that it is an option in which everyone wins, however, the reality is that it is a new way of exploitation of women and trafficking of newborns. This article tries to improve the understanding and analysis of the ethical dilemmas that this practice entails.
