Resumen de Commercial opportunities for the Bucaramanga’s machinery industry at the Brazilian market
The central purpose of this article was to present the most important aspects of the dynamics of the Bucaramanga´s machinery industry in the last five years, and to present the commercial opportunities at the Brazilian market. In order to achieve this goal, this paper present a description of this sector over the past five years taking as a reference the variables of employment, value added, gross output, regional distribution of production and main exported products and destinations of the exports of the Santander engineering sector prioritized chain using the fonts on the pattern of production, the metalworking of the Santander Department chain is focused on the manufacture of industrial machinery for the food industry, construction materials and auto parts products. In the year 2018, the metallurgical industry chain contributed to the generation of 203.386 jobs in the Colombian economy.
