  • The US government appears to be keeping an eye on emerging technologies that could have a big impact on the future landscape of gun control. Last week, US attorney general Eric Holder met with Robert McNamara, co-founder of a firm called TriggerSmart, to discuss gun violence policy. The company, based in Limerick, Ireland, has developed guns that can only be fired by authorized users.
