    At the movie Os inquilinos – os incomodados que se mudem, the matter of the violence in the cities is addressed through the vision of the characters of a peripheral neighborhood about the favela next-door. Framed by the window of their house, the protagonist’s point of view appears in the hierarchical and scientistic relation that the Occident established between the human and the animal. This political distinction, through which the characters intend to humanize themselves, instead of escaping of the relation between the State and the sovereign and the homo sacer, makes them find each other even more involved in it.

    No filme Os inquilinos – os incomodados que se mudem, a questão da violência na cidade é trabalhada pela visão que personagens de um bairro periférico tem da favela vizinha. Enquadrado pela janela de sua casa, o ponto de vista dos protagonistas se manifesta na relação hierárquica cientificista que o Ocidente estabeleceu entre o homem e o animal. Esta distinção política, pela qual as personagens pretendem se humanizar, ao invés de escapar da relação entre o Estado Soberano e o homo sacer, faz com que elas se encontrem ainda mais imersas nela.
