Resumen de La cripta de Sant Pere de Rodes: culte, filiacions formals i datació

L’estudi de la cripta de Sant Pere de Rodes ha romàs per a molts historiadors en un segon pla, quedant a l’ombra dels debats creats entorn del doble sistema de columnes de l’església. Precisament per aquest fet, aquest article vol recalcar la importància d’incidir en l’estudi de la cripta en concret i de l’articulació del temple en general, per tal d’enriquir el coneixement, encara massa limitat, de Sant Pere de Rodes. Per abordar l’estudi de la cripta, s’han distingit tres aspectes bàsics: l’ús cultual de l’espai, les possibles influències que va rebre a l’hora de configurar l’espai i la datació del conjunt arquitectònic.

The study of the Sant Pere de Rodes' cryp thas remained in the background for many historians, being hidden by the debates around the double system of pillars of the church . So that, this article aims to show the importance of the specific study of the cryptand the general organization of the church,in order to enlarge the knowledge of Sant Pere de Rodes. This study of the crypt distinguishes three basic aspects : the use of worship space, the possible architectural influences that it received when organizing the space and the dang of the architectural ensemble
