  Addressing special education these days implies an obligation by law, so soon, it can not be left alone on paper. This article reports on the need to include special students in the classroom in the context of the modernity in which they live, where they have to create a mutual learning environment, this work was developed in the final years of elementary school of the Municipal School of Education Fundamental Heitor Soares Ribeiro, located in Florida, second district of Canguçu. It presents a theoretical and practical reference of the importance of inclusion, as well as the difficulty that teachers have to develop this work. As main purpose, it presents diversities of manipulable materials for teaching practical learning in mathematics classes with special students, in the sense of finding solutions of objects that aid the learning of people with special needs. Based on various research it has been found that manipulative materials are allied to math teachers for inclusion to take place in the classroom. Thus the goals of special education are the same as those of education in general. What differs, however, is the attendance, which happens to be according to the individual differences of the student, respect the limitations of each child and work in a differentiated way. And in relation to learning is notorious the resourcefulness presented by the student, when he has in contact with his hand the material to which his learning refers.

  Abordar a educação especial nos dias atuais implica numa obrigatoriedade por lei, tão logo, está não poderá ficar só no papel. O presente artigo relata a necessidade de inclusão dos alunos especiais na sala de aula no contexto da modernidade em que se vive, onde se têm que criar um ambiente de aprendizagem mutua, esse trabalho foi desenvolvido nos anos finais do ensino fundamental da Escola Municipal de Ensino Fundamental Heitor Soares Ribeiro, localizada na Florida, segundo distrito de Canguçu. Apresenta um referencial teórico e prático da importância da inclusão, bem como a dificuldade que os professores têm de desenvolver esse trabalho. Como finalidade principal, apresenta diversidades de materiais manipuláveis para o ensino aprendizado prático nas aulas de matemática com alunos especiais, no sentido de encontrarem soluções de objetos que auxiliem o aprendizado de pessoas com necessidades especiais. Com base em diversas pesquisas constata-se que os materiais manipuláveis são aliados de os professores de matemática para a inclusão acontecer em sala de aula. Assim, os objetivos da educação especial são os mesmos da educação em geral. O que difere, entretanto, é o atendimento, que passa a ser de acordo com as diferenças individuais do aluno, respeitar as limitações de cada criança e trabalhar de maneira diferenciada. E em relação à aprendizagem é notória a desenvoltura apresentada pelo aluno, quando esse tem em contato com sua mão o material ao qual se refere a sua aprendizagem.
