Acción actoral y situación de actuación en cine

    La noción de situación de actuación proviene del teatro, manifestación originaria del arte actoral, y supone un contexto espacio-temporal en el que el actor realiza una acción que no difiere de la cotidiana más que por realizarse ante la mirada de otro sujeto, que legitima dicho desempeño. El espectador presta su mirada para que el actor se posicione como tal y pueda accionar en escena, estableciendo un diálogo inmanente e indeterminado con todas las circunstancias presentes. Pero mientras la situación de actuación teatral se define por la coexistencia de dos sujetos en relación directa, en el cine esto cambia drásticamente. Debemos considerar cómo se constituye la situación de actuación en relación con los dispositivos técnicos y narrativos del lenguaje cinematográfico, cuáles son sus participantes y cuáles las características que propician el desempeño actoral.

    The notion of acting situation developed in theater. As an original manifestation of performing arts it implies a spatio-temporal context in which the actor's performance does not differ from daily life other than the fact that the action is carried out before the eyes of another subject that thereby legitimates the performance. The viewer's gaze allows the actor to take that position and thereby operate in an immanent scene setting and indeterminate dialogue with the circumstances.Thus, in theater the acting situation is defined by the coexistence of two subjects in direct relationship. Yet, in cinema the change is dramatic, since technical and narrative devices determine whether or not the acting situation is required.
