  • The principle of equal rights of religious organizations is regulated in Article 25(1) of the Constitution of the Republic of Poland. According to the jurisprudence of the Polish Constitutional Tribunal, equality rights of churches and other religious organizations implies equal treatment of entities characterised by the common essential feature under the same circumstances. The use of this principle rules out the possibility of creating a religious state
