    Gracias a los trabajos de recuperación de las pinturas murales de la Cámara de Doña Sancha en la Real Colegiata de San Isidoro de León, hoy podemos conocer, por un lado, unas magníficas grisallas renacentistas que narran un ciclo cristológico y permanecieron ocultas prácticamente desde su realización y, por otro, unas pinturas murales realizadas al óleo en el mismo estilo que recogen tres importantes ciclos iconográficos: la Crucifixión, la Conversión de San Agustín y la vida y milagros de San Isidoro de Sevilla. Todo ello nos ofrece una lectura del espacio acorde con la vida de los canónigos del siglo XVI

    Thanks to the works of recovering of the wall paintings of the Chamber of Doña Sancha in the Royal Collegiate Church of St Isidore of León, today we can see, on the one hand, a magnificent ensemble of Renaissance grisailles that narrate a cycle of the life of Christ and remained hidden almost from the very same moment of their creation and, on the other hand, a setofoil wall paintings made in the same art style that contain three important iconographic cycles: the Crucifixion, the Conversion of St Augustin eand the life and miracles of St Isidore of Seville. This offers us a new reading of the space consistent with the life of the canons the 16th century
