    Empresas como Pedro Cascales Vivancos y Talleres Comain, o inventores como Ricardo Carpio, Ángel Galindo y Francisco Sánchez, entre otros, nos muestran una faceta poco conocida de creatividad, diversificación y cambio tecnológico. Las industrias e innovaciones de estos emprendedores se insertan y entrecruzan en la vida social y cultural del momento, influyendo en el desarrollo industrial y la modernización de Alcantarilla y la Región de Murcia. Los vestigios, máquinas y documentos de estas industrias son un patrimonio que debemos conservar y divulgar.

    Some of the patents and utility models developed in the canning, machinery construction and auxiliary industries of Alcantarilla are analyzed, taking into account their historical, social and cultural context. Companies like Pedro Cascales Vivancos and Talleres Comain, or inventors such as Ricardo Carpio, Ángel Galindo and Francisco Sánchez, among others, show us a little known facet of creativity, diversification and technological change. The industries and innovations of these entrepreneurs are inserted and intersected in the social and cultural life of the moment, influencing the industrial development and modernization of Alcantarilla and the Region of Murcia.

    The remains, machines and documents of these industries are a heritage that we must keep and disclose.
