The article analyzes the editions of Unsere Schule, a pedagogical journal, with emphasis on the mathematical discourse through texts, images and statements, their intentions and approaches. As the theme is part of the history of mathematical education in Rio Grande do Sul, this qualitative and documentary study draws on cultural history for the analysis of the eleven editions of the Unsere Schule, edited by the Lutheran Church in German, for its parochial schools, from August 1933 to October 1935. In 1900, the German Evangelical Lutheran Synod of Missouri, today the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Brazil, began mission in the German colonies in the state, founding religious congregations and parochial schools. These schools were part of a missionary and community project that sought to teach the mother tongue, mathematics, as well as cultural, social and mainly religious values. In its whole of 164 pages, journal Unsere Schule brings contributions to the Lutheran parochial schools in Rio Grande do Sul, through biblical texts, information and pedagogical articles in different areas of knowledge. Journal Unsere Schule presents didactic orientations for the teaching of mathematics using the intuitive method, gives publicity to arithmetic books and publishes pedagogical articles for the practical teaching of geometry and units of measure.

O artigo analisa as edições do periódico pedagógico Unsere Schule, com ênfase no discurso matemático veiculado por meio dos textos, imagens e enunciados, suas intencionalidades e abordagens. Como o tema se insere na história da educação matemática no Rio Grande do Sul, este estudo qualitativo e documental se ampara na história cultural para análise das onze edições do periódico Unsere Schule, editado pela Igreja Luterana, em alemão, para suas escolas paroquiais, no período de agosto de 1933 a outubro de 1935. Em 1900, o Sínodo Evangélico Luterano Alemão de Missouri, hoje Igreja Evangélica Luterana do Brasil, iniciou missão nas colônias alemãs gaúchas, fundando congregações religiosas e escolas paroquiais. Tais escolas integravam um projeto missionário e comunitário que buscava ensinar a língua materna, a matemática, valores culturais, sociais e, principalmente, religiosos. Em sua totalidade de 164 páginas, o periódico Unsere Schule traz contribuições para as escolas paroquiais luteranas gaúchas por meio de textos bíblicos, informações e artigos pedagógicos em diferentes áreas do conhecimento. O periódico Unsere Schule apresenta orientações didáticas para o ensino da matemática com emprego do método intuitivo, faz divulgação de livros de aritmética e publica artigos pedagógicos para o ensino prático da geometria e de unidades de medida.
