    Se presenta un estudio faunístico de la familia Rhinophoridae sobre material de la Península Ibérica (España y Portugal). Se han identificado 12 especies, 4 de las cuales (Paykullia nubilipennis (Loew), Phyto angustifrons (Rondani), Phyto brevipila Herting y Phyto cingulata (Zetterstedt)) son nuevas para España (y la Península Ibérica), y 2 (Melanophora roralis (Linnaeus) y Phyto melanocephala (Meigen)) lo son para Portugal. Además, el género Melanophora Meigen se cita por primera vez de Portugal.

    A faunistic study of the family Rhinophoridae is presented based on material from the Iberian Peninsula (Spain and Portugal). 12 species have been identified, 4 of them (Paykullia nubilipennis (Loew), Phyto angustifrons (Rondani), Phyto brevipila Herting and Phyto cingulata (Zetterstedt)) are new for Spain (and the Iberian Peninsula), and 2 species (Melanophora roralis (Linnaeus) and Phyto melanocephala (Meigen)) are new for Portugal.
