Alemania estuvo en el centro de la concepción revolucionaria de Lenin y la revolución de noviembre de 1918 determinó la constitución de la Internacional Comunista en 1919. En adelante, el KPD y la IC interactuaron positivamente; dando lugar al nacimiento de la política de frente único y a la primera elaboración de una estrategia de transición entre el fin del ciclo iniciado en octubre de 1917 y la reactivación de un nuevo ciclo de cambio sistémico, alternativo al capitalismo. Esa interacción positiva se quebró entre 1923 y 1924, con la ruptura práctica del frente único y la interferencia del debate en el seno del PCR-b en la Internacional y en el KPD.

Germany was at the center of Lenin’s revolutionary conception and the November 1918 revolution determined the constitution of the Communist International in 1919. From then on, KPD and IC interacted positively, leading to the birth of a united front policy and the first development of a transition strategy between the end of the cycle begun in October 1917 and the revival of a new cycle of systemic change, alternative to capitalism. This positive interaction broke between 1923 and 1924, with the practical rupture of the united front and the interference of the debate within the PCR-b in the International and KPD.
