    El trabajo comunitario constituye una premisa indispensable para fortalecer la identidad dentro de la cultura cubana. En este sentido, el presente artículo aborda la importancia del danzón en nuestro país a partir del análisis de valiosos sustentos teóricos y la valoración de la política cultural cubana, que se traza como objetivos esenciales contribuir a la realización del proyecto social revolucionario, a la defensa de la cultura e identidad nacional. Además, se hace énfasis en el trabajo que desarrollan los promotores culturales, instructores de arte, artistas, investigadores e instituciones culturales, en general, en las distintas comunidades del país, lo que permite fortalecer las raíces identitarias del cubano, así como difundir y preservar nuestras tradiciones por toda la geografía nacional.

    Community work is an indispensable premise for identity within Cuban culture. In this sense, this article addresses the importance of the danzon in our country of the analysis of the valuable theoretical underpinnings and the appreciation of the Cuban cultural culture, which is outlined as essential objectives, contributes to the realization of the revolutionary social project, to the defense of the national culture and identity. In addition, emphasis is placed on the work of cultural promoters, art instructors, artists, researchers and cultural institutions, in general, in the different communities of the country, which allows strengthening the Cuban identity roots, as well as disseminating and preserving our traditions throughout the national geography.
