  • The shipping world is worried about the short term necessity of a consensus as well as decisions that the maritime policy makers have to take. Year 2050 is coming quickly and many technical solutions still pending to clarify the sea trade scenario.

    The relationship between the new building yards order book and the current operating fleet is lower than ever. Technical solutions regarding new fuels and systems to keep the merchant fleet working have not yet sufficient materialized. The article give a view to the present situation and movements.
