  • Resumen
    • In this paper we presente evidence from submarine slides locate south of Mallorca Island. This study is based on the bathymetric map obtained by the multi beam echosounders SIM RAD EM I000 and EM I2, together with the analysis of several seismic reflection profiles of high resolution logging with the SPARKER system mod. 267. Each method generated a specific data set. Both bathymetric and seismic data set are complementary one to another. Two main fault lineations have been identified; NE-SW (Betic) and NW-SE. A clear sequence of turbiditic sediments is perfectly recognize in the area, flanked by recent faulting.
